Fringe Theater presents “Talley’s Folly,” by Lanford Wilson, in the Back Room at the Key West Theater, running from Wednesday, Jan. 8, through Jan. 18. This poignant story of second chances won the Pulitzer Prize and Drama Circle Award in 1980. It was also nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play.
“The play is a love story of sorts,” says Fringe Artistic Director, Rebecca Tomlinson. “And by that I mean it’s a story about choosing to love despite the setbacks of life.” Which in the case of the play’s protagonists includes the loss of dreams, the devastation of World War II and the existence of cultural intolerance.
Doors open nightly for “Talley’s Folly” at 6:30 p.m. The Back Room at the Key West Theater is located at 512 Eaton St.
Tickets begin at $35 and are available online at http://www.fringetheater.org or by calling the Fringe box bffice at 305-731-0581. Seating is limited so advanced ticket purchase is encouraged.
