Glad Tidings Bishop Jonathan Carey will give the Benediction and update on their ‘Bahamas Reset’ Outreach Program, including the upcoming 2023 Flagship WOLF Bahamian Humanitarian Sails to Nassau, bringing relief supplies for distribution.
Live music begins at 4pm, with Raven Cooper and Uncle Bob, and the Ceremony starts at 4:30pm, and includes the Blowing of the Sacred Conch Shell, Presentation of Colors by the Key West Cadet Squadron US Civil Air Patrol, and Benediction by Bishop Jonathan Carey, Glad Tidings Community to Community Outreach program.
The Ceremonial Burning of the Hurricane Flags (with the help of the Conch Republic’s Speaker of the House, Paul Menta and GEN Scarlett Jai Sommers, CO of the Conch Republic Army) is at 5pm.
The Conch Republic is a “sovereign state of mind,” and our nation’s values are Humor, Warmth, Respect and Peace. For more info, visit &
We are thankful the Conch Republic suffered only minor damage when Hurricane Ian passed and send our prayers to the many who were not as fortunate.
