The Key West Garden Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Fort West Martello, 1100 Atlantic Blvd. Speaker Mark Hedden will discuss Ballast Key, seven miles west of Key West, now part of the National Wildlife Refuge. The meeting is free and open to the public.
