Key West Artisan Market Special Independence Edition Postponed to July 12
The Key West Artisan Market's last show of the summer has been postponed from Sunday, July 5 to comply with Monroe County closures over the 4th of July weekend. Guests wishing to shop local or get fresh produce can find several Artisan Market makers instead at their studios in the Art Shack (6404 Front Street, Stock Island), open 11 am to 7 pm Tuesday - Sunday. Pending final County approval, the Artisan Market will be held Sunday July 12 from 10 am to 2 pm at Clarence H. Higgs Memorial Beach, Key West. Multilayered safety and social distancing protocols will be in place to protect our locals, visitors and vendors to create a careful shopping experience.
Guests may enjoy bloody’s, mimosas along with a full bar from Great Events Catering, coffee, smoothies, natural juices and cut fruit, multiple food trucks and stalls including seafood, Asian-fusion, Southern, Mediterranean & Indian. Shop a curated outdoor market offering fine crafts, art and jewelry from talented Florida Keys makers. Stock the pantry and fridge with fresh produce, artisan cheeses, local seafood and so much. Bring a lawn chair or make a donation to Little Pink Houses of Hope to sit in the pink chairs (socially distanced, of course) and be entertained with live music.
The market is conveniently located close to the Higgs Beach Dog Park, free West Martello Tower botanical gardens, Key West White Street Pier and of course, the alluring Atlantic ocean across the street at Higgs Beach, perfect for a spread-out picnic. Open 10 am to 2 pm only twice this summer - June 21 and July 5, by locals, for locals.
Free entry, free parking. Please BYOB (bring your own bags). Hand sanitizer stations provided using Key West First Legal Rum Distillery 60 proof ruminizer and social distancing protocols and masks, as per county orders, will apply.
