Key West Artisan Market Now Every Sunday Through April
The Key West Artisan Market is happy to announce shows will now be every Sunday, 10 am to 2 pm through April in the parking lot at Sonny Mccoy Indigenous Park, 1801 White Street, across from Higgs Beach. The Market weekly teams up with the Key West Wildlife Center, who will be open for free (donation) tours.
The Key West Artisan Market, celebrating its 10th season, is a unique open air bazaar filled with artists, authors, chef-made cuisine, craftspeople, performers and fresh produce representing diversity, creativity, ingenuity and locally made products. Participants must live and also create/curate in the Keys in order to qualify. Each show offers a different theme and features one or more local charities. The remaining dates include March 5, “Preserve Island Life edition”, March 12 “Gone to the Dogs” edition featuring the SPCA, March 19 “One Human Family Edition”, March 26 “Locals Helping Locals edition” benefiting Sister Season Fund, April 2 “Ocean Awareness edition” featuring Mote marine, April 9 “Let’s Get Hoppy” Easter show, April 16 “Be the Change Edition” highlighting Kids Come First In the Florida Keys & last but not least, April 23 for Conch Republic Days.
March entertainment includes on the 5th, Eric Berube aka Wichita Jack, and Chris Rehm and Dani Hoy, the Shantyhounds; March 12th Jeff Clark will be solo and with members of Entrain; March 19th John Saucier on steel Pan and Vlad Schartzman, the mellow cello and March 26th Brielle from the Love Lane Gang and RB Toler and the BOO Blues band. All shows are recorded live for replay on Tiki Man Radio by the Soundman From Hell.
The Market offers free entry and ample free parking. Guests are encouraged to ride bikes and BYOB (bring your own bags).
