Beginning Friday, February 28, the Key West Art Center will be displaying works of its associate members. A reception for this annual show will be held Saturday, February 29, from 5-7 PM at the Key West Art Center, located since 1960 in its historic building at 301 Front Street. The Key West Art Center celebrated its 60th year as Key West's oldest continually operating art gallery and the only gallery whose members are all Keys resident artists. The Center's associate members, while not member artists, contribute to the nonprofit organization's mission of encouraging local artists and of bringing programs to the public that encourage an appreciation for the arts. Saturday's reception is free and open to the public. Come, bring friends and family, enjoy refreshments, and be inspired by the talents of these behind-the-scenes supporters of our diverse artistic community. The show will continue through March 12 with all works for sale. Visit the Center's website at keywestartcenter.com and use the event tab for more information.
