The play is called
Written by talented playwright Georgia Searle Morris.
It’s a dark comedy about Ruby, a woman whose husband was sent to prison years ago…for what we’re unsure. She has moved on with her life, never
expecting to see him again, residing in a boarding house in the high-gambling days of Atlantic City that she shares with an aging, gambling-addicted senior citizen couple, and her new lover, a professional gambler. But one day, a knock comes on the door, and it’s her husband, now tattered and quite addled by his experience, throwing her new life into complete and utterly conflicted chaos.
It’s a story about love, and what we need from it to feel whole.
